Flying Pig Animal Sanctuary is a safe haven for over 100 animal residents. The majority of our residents were rescued from abuse, neglect, exploitation and abandonment. We do not breed, buy, sell or exploit animals. We are not a petting zoo and our residents are not here for human entertainment. You have been invited into their home, their safe space. We expect you to treat our residents with the same kindness and respect you would want for yourself. Not all residents are social and friendly, and that's ok. Some may have been abused at the hands of humans and may never fully trust. Please leave them be if they are not seeking attention or affection.

Understand that there may be residents here in various stages of recovery from injury, illness or malnutrition. Some residents are elderly, some are special needs. Your perception of their conditions and of what you may think is  considered “acceptable” may not actually be.

We welcome and encourage any questions you have about our residents.

Please follow posted rules for the safety and comfort of the animals and other visitors. Those individuals found to be in violation of any posted signage or rules will be asked to leave.
